Hello ✿

Welcome to my blog. I do whatever I want and get away with it too! Come hang out!

Journaling with the remnants of promotions past

Got a letter from the Roommate full of treasures from their place of work. I am watching one of the best movies you can watch for free on youtube and I've been putting the treasures in my journal and around the house. Their job is within the remnants of years of Woke Store and so they have many a random piece of "Garbage" (according to their Evil Coworker) around.

The first page I made has a whole bunch of little randoms and an ad for said place of work that akso functions as a coupon. Unfortuneltly the coupon is expired by about 11 years. Also I am about sixteen hundred miles away but oh well.

This page also features a little stamp hole punch borrowed from the Coworker and a little guy within it that I drew. Keeping these journals has made me obsessed with improv doodles to fill holes and finding stickers anywhere.

But even better, is when I outsource my scrap collecting to The People. Got that little envelope at work along with more things from The Letter.

I even made a middle page with a silly little ancient stamp from days of yore. Middle pages are one of the many things I love to do to make my book a little thicker. This makes up for all the blank space I must save for the actual journaling.

I also have washi tape from work and stickers off the side of a light pole. I love this strange memo thing that the Roommate sent, I can't imagine the practicle use.

This adorable hello kitty paper is a fav of mine and since the back of the page has a few little illustrations and I could even write down the back of it for something.

Also included were somethings that didn't make it into the journal. There's a postcard of a cartoon of Pope Francis in a Kia Soul and some beautiful drawing by The Roommate on sticker paper but I'm too scared to actually put it anywhere. So I am saving it on the fridge. The Penpal also agreed that it is too scary to put them anywhere.

The Roommate also maybe made me and The Penpal some amiibos of Animal Crossing villagers. He got me Peewee, who I asked for, and two surprises. He sent me scoot, the Vinesauce star, and Petri, who looks very much like your fav blogueuse.

I fear this has awoken a sleeping beast in me, one that needs to play animal crossing NOW.

I fear this means I must go, I have to kick out a few losers to make room for the Big Three. (Ignore what I am wearing, I have no idea how or why I am wearing this I think the last time I played was almost a year ago, which I don't want to think about, I remembber it really well)

Bye now! ~ ๐Ÿ’˜

my fat journal

a sporcle

In honor of finding out gpa is .105 points to keep me from needing to take the GRE, I am going to write almost academically about things of interest. I am also eating a stale donut in celebration as well. Working on this website helps me maintain my writing ability and keeps me working on an endless project. Artists will find great satisfaction by working on something that is always done and never finished.

For now, here is a tour of my Sporcle account. I have only been playing on my phone and thus I have no idea if it will be nealy as fun on computer. I am horrible at spelling but using the little microphone and saying "Losotho" and pronouncing it as clearly and slowly as I can (while still rushing to make time) is a strat that keeps me playing. I'm not sure I will enjoy not having the handicap.

I love Sporcle because I can just see how many presidents I can name or I can play animal crossing trivia word searches. I have been keeping up a streak of 17 days now and I haven't really been trying to. I love word laddars and classic quizes but I also will do a crossword or picture click, especially if I can earn a badge!

Here are the last few badges I have earned, I have not earned one in a bit but that is because I have been busy being cold. When I can use my hands and mind at the bus stop things are different. Earning badges is something that keeps me going, I really like when I only have to play three to five quizes to get the badge.

Though there also is the fun that is a surprise badge earned from doing too much (or even just trying to 100% one quiz causing you to play it 35 times...)

I've only played five quizes today because life has been busy but in the past 17 days of having the app, I have played 50 quizes in one day EIGHT TIMES. Though I just found out that someone has over 15000 50 game days so I could be doing better.

I think that more people should be on Sporcle and should then be my friend on Sporcle so we can earn badges together and maybe even make new and crazier quizes. I love sending people the nichest quizes I can find on the app that only could've been made by a friend's evil sporcler twin.
Well, that's all I have to say about Sporcle in this moment, but if I keep talking about it (highly likely) I will make a little Sporcle tag and you can track hwo the mania truly sets in and how I rise to being number one on every ranked badge while also being able to name every US president and every canton of Switzerland.

Come Sporcle with me!

Bye!!๐Ÿ€

Quiltin'

There is something about Albequerque that causes me to have an adventure every time. It is never just going and coming back. I recently went for the Quilt, Craft and Sewing fair that I found a flyer for when I was at the bead store. It gave me $3 off so I thought it'd be fun.

Waiting for them to LET ME INNNNN
I went after volunteering at the public library which I do every day of my weekend and the next bus (after I got out at 10:10) wasn't until 1 something so I went to the Ark and spent so much money before I even left Santa Fe.

I got on the rail runner and wasted a bunch of phone battery on listing to fitting music to the landscape I was looking at. To be fair, the rail runner is probably the cheapest and most beautiful rides in the continental states. I feel like all the great railways of Alaska could have us beat. You definitely don't get this from NJ transit, no offense.

the rail runner seats. nothing else happening here
Maybe in an attempt to save battery or just to be #aesthetic, I took so many pictures of the mountains on my little spyware camera. I know what is the better side on the Rail Runner and unless, maybe, you're commuting, you can get a seat there. I'm never in a car with more than ten other people.

I also read some of my book, Ladies of the Canyons, but it was hard to focus when the landscape makes you feel like a paper boat going down a stream. I even saw canada geese and sandhill cranes along the way.

the view but low quality
I got off the train and got on the 777 bus which is legit the longest bus I have ever seen in my life. Its liek three buses long. And the vibe is def off, I should've ubered. I mean they had a giant fire extinguisher, like twice the size as the one for my whole floor. Albequerque seems to have a lot of public art and interesting roads and things. They just have the style of a sims expansion. Albequerque is San Myshuno. I got off, passed by a sign with abig lion face and wandered along an avenue to the large complex that is the convention center but it is more of a campus.

After wandering a deserted, quiet and extremely bright campus, stopping in the bathroom and getting directions twice, I found the only place where anyone who wasn't power washing a building was hanging out. A lot of people were leaving (like 3) so I got scared I spent like three hours getting here for nothing. Turns out I still had two hours left and they were letting people in for free.

Here are the quilt views:

After this, I took an uber to the station usin the very last bit of my battery. I ran into a Coworker on the train and we debrieffed on our trips to the Big City. She also kept me from having to talk to the strangers that found me so interesting at the station.

I got off the train and risked my life with only a dead phone and a bag full of treasures that I would've robbed someone for. I made it, got my cardio in, and had to sleep with a burning candle on to calm down.

It was a very interesting (...) trip to Albequerque and I am unsure if I will go back for a while. I am not used to big cities I don't already know how to navigate, esp if they are car dependant at all.

Anyways I am going to celebrate this tax refund I just got and the safety of my own home!
BYEEEEEEEE!!!ๆ„›

A boring little update to help me clear my worries and start MAKING! ⋆˚꩜。

Hello, I have been without wifi for a few days now, 16 days to be specific. This has hindered me immensely and has kept me from making all the blog posts I've been wanting to make. And surprise, I have forgotten all of them and neglected to write them down of course. I am working on making videos to add to my archieve of creation and recorded a few awful ones to work on.

I've made some plans that I do not want to write for fear of them not coming true, but I am so forward thinking that the present is less and less on my mind. I am thinking of other cities and other jobs. I even dream of baseball.

Some things that arrived yesterday for The Roommate
I've been sending lots of letters, some for Valentone's day (one of my fav days!), and many just because. I fear one of my most importnat ones has been lost in the mail, but I have learned a lot of letting go from this. I hope seeing my letters is fun for the carriers too. I decorate the envelopes and write little messages on the outside that I dont mind the world seeing.

I've been on hold without wifi for no reason. Just because I can't use the web on my computer didn't mean it was useless but I lost hope of making without youtube on the big screen. I am going to make up for this by making a mini zine, I think and also working on some minor projects. I want to write for myself and show nobody. Though I was a little successful. I started drawing again in a physical notebook which is something I really haven't done (outside of class doodling) in years.

All of this to say I will start planning and recording my ideas into plans. I have so many foggy images in my head of what I want to do. This may mean that I start carrying a third daily notebook. I already have my tiny journal (if it was bigger i'd consolidate) and a planner (for day to day). I'm working on my process to start making better things. I am sitting at my desk more so that my arms don't hurt or I'm not tempted to just tuck myself in. Next will be list-making!

With all the non-computer time, I have been watching a lot of YouTube, esp Nisipisa's badge hunter videos and I was inspired. I have made a sporcle account and I am at a 16 day streak. I must do anything to keep me from shorts and reels. I will put my sporcle profile on my blog and you can check in on how bad I am at the only thing I have, trivia. I'm also thinking of making videos about sporcle attempts, though I only know how to play on my phone. You guys just have to promise to not make fun of my spelling.

this will be me soon......!

Anyways, thats all I got for this life/creative/mind update. More to come I promise!!

Bye!!

Cow video IMPORTANT

This is a video I found on the Wikipedia home page which is one of the most important websites in the world. This is Veronika who is very beautiful and very skilled. I want to play with more strange wikipedia media in the future. Wikipedia has easy embed tools so i felt obliged to embed it here.

This the first evidence of cows using tools and was found literally last month. The other ungulates (hoofed) that have shown tool use are horses and Visayan warty pigs for some reason. They use bark scoops.
supposedly polar bears throw ice at walruses to kill them and chimps use different tools depending on culture. What really makes us so special anyways?
That's all i have. I am angry and watching horrible anime like i am 17 again.
Ta Ta! ๐Ÿ–

Bye now
