Game Night Gallery

Literally several weeks ago (4/10) The Illustrators (and me) had game night via discord. We hit up all the classics: Gartic Phone, Skribbl.io and Jackbox

Before we start, the music:

Drawings for Coco

Devistating news, my dear friend seb's hamster, Coco, has passed. She was three, I think, and a world traveler. In her honor, seb asked me to make some drawings of her:

Hope she's eating so many seeds in hamster heaven ๐Ÿ’”

what i do with all that youtube time

Today I took the bus to the Library where I volunteer and the bus driver I had wore reflective aviators and had a handlebar moustache. He also wore a black baseball cap witha propeller!! woah!!! This was very exciting for me but I could not take a picture, so I drew him. I sent this poorly done notesapp piece to anyone and everyone.

I also have been wathcing a lot of youtube lately and less so movies and tv or even sports (which I do now). I watched a movie yesterday on youtube for free, and I've been doing that a lot, and I haven't been watching a lot of Hulu or anything else because I'd rather just scroll youtube, and I dont have to pay for it!

I really like all the free movies and TV you can find on youtube, some offical some not so much, and things come from all over the world. They also are really great or even better, really bad. You can watch Pride and Prejudice like this or like this or even this and I swear I even saw the zombie version all for free on youtube (though i can't find it now, I may have done it other ways...)!

Anyways, besides watching movies, I love archeology documentaries and iceburg videos (which are very fun to critique). I listen to mixes and watch clips from actual reality shows all the time. My whole feed has been flooded by Tomodachi Life Living the Dream content, which is tough because I need this game to just come out already.

The main youtubers I watch are:

Vinesauce

I've watched at least 500 hours of Vinesauce last year not coundtin what I watched when my Ex Roommate had ad-less youtube. He is my favorite and I cannot explain it and I know he can be cringey but, in the 6 years I have been watching him (not long in the Vine-verse), my youtube ecosystem relies on his content. I rewatch his old playlists all the time, I'm currently doing Resident Evil 7, and his modern stuff too. He used to be our "Third Roommate" bc we'd just put him on all day. I started with Tingle and the 2019 christmas stream and have just kept going. He hasn't played evry game but he tends to be the only one who played a niche thing you don't want to find a rom for.

nisipisa

Nisipisa is my fav boston youtuber. I used to only watch her for her window shopping series, as most people do, but then she got me into sporcle and now I just watched anything and everything she does. Maybe she's my Boston inspiration. She is so much fun and is always going viral on tik tok. She's got a great voice and has very smart jokes for Girls Like Me!

Tamakid

Tamakid is a toy collector and artist who adds a lot of graphic deisgn and extra music to her videos that are so aesthetically pleasing to me. I want to amke videos like this one day, but I need to start making videos at all, which requires planning I don't have the time for. Anyways, her content is so cool and a lot of fun, even if you don't care for collecting, she does so many other things! She's where I believed I'd be as an adult when I was collecting tokidoki horses as a kid.

I heart Mess

I Heart Mess is my favorite Substack (not hard tbh, tho do check out flesh world) and now one of my fav channels and I have just learned Emily Kirkpatrick is now THE DIGITAL EDITOR OF INTERVIEW!!! Which I am so happy about, she deserves this and only so much more. Her videos are fun even for those who do not care for fashion because almost everyone (except celebrities) loves to dunk on celebrities!!! She brings you fabulous images and news that really doesn't matter but it does make you feel better when the rest of the news cycle is just muck! This, instead, is slop.

Sean Munger

This historian makes videos on literally anything and they're all about 2 hours long. He's more recently committed to no AI (which he was only using for images) so don't get scared if you see some in earlier videos. Since I discovered him yesterday, I've watched videos on Millard Fillmore, TWA, 1981 in England and now Koscot. I've been falling asleep to it since I've started watching vinny play horror games and it is too interesting that I just get very relaxed, but I still find myself looking up stuff on Wikipedia instead of falling asleep.

Okay and her's a list of other channels I watch just every once and a while:

  • WiiLikeToPlay
  • Fundie Fridays
  • Katie Robinson
  • The World of Maude
  • Rick Steves' Europe
  • caseoh
  • Nemf
  • Felipe Bravo
  • Bliss Foster
  • Summoning salt
  • Rajiv Surendra
  • Malcolm P.L.
  • WiiFit Yu Log Channel
  • Mike's Mic
  • The Histocrat
and many mooooore....

I can only hope that you have a better understanding of me and my mind. It is hopefully not too revealing and I hope, even if you are a regular reader, that I still habe some mystery to you. But my entire soul is within all these links and images from my Web Stickers board on Pinterest lol.

One does not need streaming when you can watch things made by The People!

Keep watching!!

BYEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

๐Ÿ—ฏ!!!

ello  everyone! I am postingg again. One day later. February 2025 behavior if you must ask me, when I made 25 posts in one, 28 day, month!

This is my creative warm-up before I work on an inaugural letter to a friend that I started on my lunch. I realized all the [artist] themed notecards I got at work make [artist] a part of me and my work and so I have decided from here on out I will be obstructing [their] ugly work so I can get the cards I got for a dollar at the scratch and dent sale. I like the cards size and material wise, but I do not want to have to be limited by these paintings. So I've covered the card with oragami paper.

Here is a song for you:

Here is what keeps happening at work but I don't care because I think it is extremely cute even tho now everyone knows which locker is mine, i guess if they want to steal my book and ruin my day:
But anyways, here is a small list of things I have made while in Santa Fe. I don't have pictures of everything, especially not my letters, which are my masterpieces, or the gifts I have made for the Future Roommates, which are truly my greatest desert works.

Anyways, as someone outside my window sits on their horn, here are some little projects:

before i got into weaving, i was on a paper mache shelf kick and i made a bunch. this one holds my hoops over my other earrings

from below. fish kiss

a garland made from a giant real estate magazine

another shelf with ducks gued onto it. and a hippo toy

bottom has eyes like a kylix with eyes on it

another shelf, this one has a saint and a dinosaur. It is my fav of the shelves

bird shelp with rocks and bat ring

aliens i drew with angel made by monks

sun print and the first thing i made on a loom that i also made

my diaries are all a part of the biggest piece I will ever make

the second weaving. it didn't come out as good but i learned more
That is not everything, as I keep saying, but it is a lot, and that makes me feel very good. I have been trying to make more, do more, read more and I have been able to do all these things as I grow as a person as well.

That's all, this is a bit of a mini post and I have a letter to write!

Raindbow

 Hello!

I missed blogging the weekend bc i forgor.

So here's a little something coming straight off the dome after a longgggggg day at work. Santa Fe had its first day of rain in three billion years but by the time I got out of work, it was only a light sprinkle. But that's okay bc guess what I saw!

Its a bit of a double but in my post-work haze I thought it could even be a triple raibow! Which is great! Because after a long day of work and all three of my baseball teams losing I needed a natual miracle.

Also, since I last posted (maybe?) the Tomodachi Life Living the Dream demo came out and I need this game. I probably won't need another game again also. This is THE game for me, its what I like about tomo, ac and even the sims combined. Not to sound crazy but what if I make an island that's all rococo themed? The only thing that would make the game perfect is different islands for different profiles, then I'd never leave my house again.

old pic of my workspace
I loved the demo, I played it twice back to back. I made some randoms, which is my fav way to plkay the game, and then an alien island. I do want to be able to make my fav baseball players, but will the game let me make Max Scherzer's eyes?

Perhaps I can make my lemon seal (the closest thing I have to a pet here), and maybe he and Scherzer will get along. Maybe they'll even become roommates.

In order to distract myself from my deep yearning that has seeped into various parts of my life, I went on a hike. I got hailed on and saw a waterfall and made a couple laugh, declaring myself the funniest girl on the mountain. Met some cool people on the bus and a dog.

And I thought the other bridge was bad...

worried this was the waterfall I was hiking for

the trail was rocks

the real waterfall!!

hmm.. looking cloudy

waterfall!!

Then it started to hail. Large hail too, at least bigger than an ant. Maybe ladybug sized...

hid out in one of these

ate a bunch of these

brought my toothpaste and face wash, no time to shop after (jelly legs)

wrote a letter to The Boyfriend as the sun came out

I wanted to attempt this

cool bark

the trail was steep and all rocks, so I gave up and started birding

caught some jaywalkers

goodbye...

It was a very good time. Hyde Park isn't as far up the mountain as the ski basin so I thought I'd be safer from weather, and tbh I was. If it was hailing here, there was probably ice meteors and billion miles-per-hour winds. I came home and made cookies after.

I love my Spyware Camera, I like to do things and not have to do it through my phone, like this blog. I want to do the same with cds and have one of those big players in my next apartment. I may have to start burning CDs too, if the albums aren't as cheap as they are at the library. Or are very rare or from across the globe

Other things I have been doing include weaving and reading. I would show you my weaves but I'm too lazy to add them from my phone. Its fun! I made the loom from cardboard and it keeps me off my phone. If I wasn't so lazy about where I watch YouTube, I could prob get my phone time down to less then Five Hours and Five min, which is what it always seems to be.

Okay the thing I'm waiting for is about to start, so I'm going to leave this rambling here.

Vanity plauges me, but its not too late for you.

Goodnight, I love you.

Bye now
